Your dad will be fine, but take this as a sign that something is wrong somewhere else. Have your dad get a complete physical, and make sure he follows a good diet with lots of vegetables, lots of fruit with color, and to be VERY careful about avoiding red meats, and any fatty or processed foods. There is a great book, that I know some people in here are aware of, that is a fantastic reference guide for helping either avoid, or to recover from, specific conditions. It is called "Prescription For Nutritional Healing" by Phyllis Balch. Every home should have a copy. I may have misspelled the authors name, but the title is accurate. It sells for about $30-$35 and THAT is NOT too much to pay for such a wealth of information.
Getting healthy is hard - staying healthy is easy.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I pray that he will be okay.

It's strange, after reading Thespyma's post about lung problems, the ads on this site were all about smoking.

I am so sorry to hear of your father's stroke. I wish you and your family well and hope he recovers completely.
It is a scary thing to see a father ill. I am dealing with my father's illness. He has lung problems from smoking and I know he will never be truly well but each day I have him is one to be thankful for.
Take care...my thoughts and prayers are with you.

 My Dad's Stroke
« Result #6 Yesterday at 2:15am »

I need everyone to pray for my dad. Tonight around 930pm he had a mini stroke.. We called 911 we had an ambulance and firetruck come to check my dad out and he passed everyything.. His stroke only lasted five minutes but it felt like so much longer.. My husband drove my mom and dad to the hospital.. he is staying at the hospital over night to keep an eye on him and run a whole mess of tests

He seems alright after he had the stroke.. he was aleart and remember what year it was and he remeber his birthday and such..

but still it was real scary...

Thanks!!
Shannan

Vanitá di vanitá by Angelo Branduardi. The song is from the movie "State Buoni Se Potete" (Behave Yourselves If You Can).

It's 5 degrees here with a wind chill of -5. That's the coldest I've seen, so far, this season.
