Well, it looks like the year is coming to a close without any more get-togethers of the LEXX cast with the LEXX fans. What a shame. What a year ! It was sad to know that hundreds of LEXX bits and pieces were snagged out of Electropolis, or were simply destroyed... like the panels that made up the pedestal and the side-panels of the Bridge, the sarcophagus from Viva LEXX Vegas, the gondola from season three, and so much more.... No matter what, I hope that during the coming year we'll all have a chance to meet somewhere, or in more than more somewhere, once again and share fun and stories and mutual care the way ONLY LEXXians can !! As a bit of a side note, it is likely I'll be going to my home town of St. John's, Newfoundland for a sci-fi convention in the spring.... I'll let you know more when I get the details. I think their site is :
scifiontherock.com
but I'll make sure. If you've never been to St. John's, you have missed a rare part of the world - ask anyone who's been there ! Almost every night is a bit like New Orleans (sans the heat) during Mardi Gras.... google: George Street in St. John's .... I never have done that googling because I have spent many a fine night on those 3 double-floor, triple-floor blocks of insane fun and music.....and mostly survived .... well within a 15 minute (or so) walk there are over 100 bars and pubs.....London, eat your heart out !
Much true love to all, brian

Can I have Xenia's phone number?

I'm sure you are asking in fun...... Needless to say, phone numbers are a very private matter. They can be given, or exchanged, personally by the owner of the number. Heck, I can't even get my own number out of me, and I own the damn thing !! (oopppsss - a Homer Simpson moment !)

Hallo, Brian! I've never been in St. John's, but trust that it's a wonderful place. Especially "over 100 bars and pubs". ;D For the film career you, were certainly in many beautiful places, many lands. It is interesting to know, is there place you like best of all?

maksb,
There are so many interesting places on the earth, which is why we are lucky to be on this planet. each place has something to capture our love for this place. For instance, Greece is wonderful for the aert and architecture, drama, mathematics, and concepts of democracy that we have come to take for granted in the western world... it is a meld of eastern and western sensibilities......Thailand is wonderful for its exoctic food and temples and landscapes and the smiles of its people, and the effect it has maintained being the only south-east Asian country that was never colonized......I could go on and on, and it would be boring. I can say, though, that I don't like big cities. The buildings that rise within them completely obliterate any form the land on which they stand might once have had. They are the hives for human bees, but no honey is made there.
But if I were to say that there are places to which I would happily return, I would say the Namib desert, the north of Portugal, the southern Greek islands, the southwest of England, southern Utah in the USA, Krabi province in Thailand, the island of Bequai in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Mount Robson in the Canadian Rockies, and, of course, Newfoundland.

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks travelling around Newfoundland – beautiful place. Some piccies here: filkingfairy.150m.com/Newfoundland.htmlWhen I reached St John’s, and asked people where to go, the answer was unanimously “George Street!” It really is one long party. For those who went to one of the UnCons, and thought Halifax had a lot of pubs – visit St John’s! Went on a pub crawl – didn’t get far LOL. We ended up an Irish pub with great music, which made me wonderfully homesick for Dublin. Best night of my holiday

Hello everyone! I just wandered here after at least a year of not hearing from or talking to any of you (probably much more than that for some of you), and I see some of my favorite people again! It really makes me happy just to see the names angel, goblin and catcharm on this site. I really loved the days we spent every night talking to each other about our shared obsession. It would really really lovely for everyone to get together again; I'll have to make sure I keep checking back for info. Maybe I'll stop by more often, or do you all still frequent the mirc chat room? It's great to read from you all again, and I hope everyone has a great holiday!!!
Lots of love, StunnerLuver4 (Ringa)
P.S.- My email is still the same- stanluvr_lexx@yahoo.com -if anyone wants to drop a line!

Stunner! Huuugs Long time no chat... SciFi Lexx chat room is long gone. Angel (and CatCharm, I think) can often be found in the chat room at www.lexxverse.com. And there is a chat room here on Brian’s board… maybe we could fix a time for some of us to meet up there one weekend?

That would be lovely! Which times of day can we find you online? I know there's a big time gap between us... Let's work on something for after the holidays and invite the whole gang!!!

I don’t have any good pictures of St John’s. Most of the time I was in the city itself, there was either fog or heavy rain. I’m hoping to go back again soon, so I’ll try again then. If you like the look of Lark Harbour, then you might want to check out a Viking/sci-fi movie called Outlander, which was filming around that area. It should be released later this year. Here’s a site with more information: outlander.solsector.net/
