Hi Goblin, so you must be a fan of Nigel, right? You should buy the 2nd season as well! It's my favorite season of FK. And I have no doubt, they will release the 3rd season in 2006. Well, Nigel brought me to Lexx and I really love the 3rd and 4th season! I've never seen the 1st and 2nd season of Lexx. Shenandora

Welcome to Shenandora and all the other folks I have not had a chance to greet personally !!! I sure do hope you find a sane , comfortable place to come visit. We have a VERY low incidence of negativity and that , I think , is because we have bright, and funny and creative folks that like to spend time here. And we talk TO each other and not AT each other. And that is really the essence of democracy. No matter how you found LEXX, I am glad you did. We never did follow conventional rules. We made a mess of the military order most sci-fi shows seem to follow. We don't have a home planet to defend , and for 3 seasons there wasno identification of where in time or space we were.... or Captain was a pleasure -seeking, non- committing, confrontation-avoiding, non-hero. The guy that might have been described as a hero was a dead assassin. The 'babe' was part animal ( who would likely have eaten any one who really satisified her, and there was a roaming, bad poetry-composing, ruthless, robot head who switched love-loyalties at the flick of a switch. I do think we seem to attract folks who are a little tired of all those other shows.... and those shows do have a place.... I love you guys in here because you are not afraid of a new adventure. We have never talked down to our audience. We know those that 'get' LEXX , have more than a few smarts!! And I love you all !!

Hey JD, et. al.: I've seen the movies you mentioned, and , for sure they are beyond bad.... is there a classification lower than "C" ? No matter if what we watch is A, B, or C, as long as it provides us with some plausabile story, and (even) semi- believable characters, we might be entertained.... I think the entertainment value ends when we talk to the screen and say things like " Are you kidding me ?" , or, "For fuck sake, let's get on with the story", or, " Just shut up, and do something !".....or....(worst of all) .."I could have made this . and made it better for half the money, and if I had been asked to make it ...I would have said "NO !!!".... those kind of movies..Fernando Lamas' movies....like that... I guess you all might have guessed by now that I am not kind to schlock ! There is a place for schlock ...... I call it the toilet, you call it what you want.... with affection to all..and , I remain, Brian

All this talk about bad scifi movies makes me miss Mystery Science Theater.... Hey, Lafftrak reminded me of MSTY3K! The first 10 minutes were awesome, like old 60's scifi, comic book stuff, and I even thought of Prince of Space and about fell over cracking up.

One thing to remember.. one man's garbage is another man's treasure.
Many of my personal favorites are those most people never even heard of, like for instance.. 'Return to Oz'. Most people don't know it even exists, but I love it and probably always will.

Umm.. I guess I don't need to say I'm new here, since it's already in the subject. I'm usually very suspicious what comes to these "official" websites and sending messages to the real actors and actresses, but hey, at least I'll have a chance to chat with other Lexx fanatics. The idea that a real show star actually takes part in this kind of forum feels just so unreal! I live in Finland, and have been a Lexx fan now for about 3-4 years. They never showed 4th season here, but luckily there are dvd's, and even more luckily dvd's that are region 0. Hello everyone, another newbie here ! Its fantastic that our Divine Predecessor Brian is here to tell us about his latest work. I've also missed out in much of Lexx because they showed it at weird hours and were always changing the timetable for its Television broadcast Now that I've started to collect the VHS and DVDs, I've begun to understand more of the fantastic arc story in the show. I think Lexx was a wonderful show, but sadly I missed much of it the early stuff and have only seen the movies recently. I was amazed by the guest star appearances such as Rutger Hauer, Malcolm McDowell, Ellen Dubin and Tim Curry and I also think Doreen Jacobi is great as Wist. I hope to see more of Brian's fantastic work in the future and must say this is a great website Irish fan

Welcome, Jennai! Great to have some new blood.
I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here. I sure do.
So many wonderful people, with such diverse backgrounds but with at least <one> thing in common: our love for a very special little show.
Great pleasure to have you aboard with us!

Well, OK, so I'm not really new here. Formerly known as "jkd112" I am now "jimdavis" which is about the most original name I could come up with ;D Apparently the message board doesn't like any of my 3 e-mail addresses, so I set up a "hotmail" account. The board especially didn't like it when I tried to go back under jkd112 and set up my verizon e-mail address in place of the hotmail address. To make a long story short, ProBoards is very picky with their registration.
