The second movie I shot with Chaz Thorne - "Whirligig" is opening at the Artlantic Film Festival on the 17th of this month, and is the feature for the Atlantic Gala. The first one I shot with Chaz, which is now called "Just Buried", featured Jay Baruchel, who has recently done "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" with Nicolas Cage. If anyone happen's to be around, the screening is at the Oxford Theater, and the party is at the Taboo Club on Grafton Street. The AFF is the second largest film festival after the Toronto Film Festival, which is second largest in the world after the Cannes Film Festival.... who knew !?!? brian

Well, the Atlantic Film Festival doesn't actually open until Thursday of this week. I can't take a lot of time away from Montreal, so I'll be flying in to Halifax on Friday, the 17th, for the screening and the Gala, and flying back to Montreal on Sunday the 19th... just a real quick in and out, as Malcom McDowell might say. I have no idea what Paul is doing with anything these days... BUT... the AFF has a great on-line site... it is simply www.atlanticfilm.com . the word 'festival' does not appear in the address. I'll see if I can't take a few photos of familiar faces, and post them when I get back... brian
