Aww Shannan I'm really sorry to hear that. She looks adorable, similar to the cat I had as a child, I love tabbies.
The cat I have at the moment had a big scare with his eyes a while back and we feared he would lose his sight or even an eye, so I know how upsetting it is contemplating that.
Sorry to hear that she has been diagnosed with corona virus. I believe they can have quite good quality of life for quite some time though, depending on how far along it is?
Hugs to you both.

there is good and bad news with Whisper..
Bad News. Shortly after be diagnoised with with FCV the rest of her blood work came in and she was diagnosed with Toxoplasmosis..
Good News.. She has eye drops to control her glaucoma(2 visits ago to the vets her eye pressure was normal) We also have to give her a pill for her TOXO and wwe have a vet visit on the 24th.. She will be finished with her meds (month of taking meds) She will have to get another blood test to see if her TOXO is gone and also she if her blindness is gone or permenant>>
Ill let you all know how her visit went..

Aww poor baby, has she got the huge dilated pupils?
When we were giving ours eye drops he really looked on deaths door and his eyes were horrendous, but he did make a complete recovery. It's amazing how dire they can look and still bounce back like nothing ever happened.
I know it's hard but try not to worry until you get the next tests done. Take each day as it comes and deal with the results when they come.
Toxoplasmosis is pretty common in cats (and people!) and they can recover quite well.

Her eyes r very dilated. Doctors say she must have gotten TOXO from her mother as a kitten because she is a single cat in our house hold and she is indoors.. Did u see the pic of her?

Whisper is still blind and dont know if she will ever get her sight back (is on two different kind of eye drops)..
one day last week my husband forgot to give her eye drops by next morning her left eye looked normal all the color came back and everything... We did notice that she was laying on her face( she looked like she had a headache) by late afternoon her left eye went back to being all black again.. So i dont know.. She has to go to the vets on the 24th...
