Last week, I downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer, thinking it would help on my Facebook games; when I tried them, weird things were happening. I then found that on several games, that I couldn't send gifts or anything; I then began seeing a pattern , I went ahead & downloaded a new flashplayer. I then did some research on this, only to find out that IE9 blocks both flashplayer & Java from working. I then wondered if downloading IE9 was a good idea, so I read the comments, only to find them experiencing the same problem. My advice, please DON'T DOWNLOAD IE9. I'm considering downloading Google's version, Chrome & seeing if that makes a difference; but I may take a look at Mozilla Firefox, for the same reason. I'd love to know your thoughts on this as well which 1 you would choose to replace IE9. Thanks for any help you can possibly give me & have a nice week Stan Fans Unite, Karen

I work with computers, so I know what you mean. My mom even had the same problems when she upgraded from IE8 to IE9. There are other browsers you can use and safe for browsing the web. I use Google Chrome and Firefox (that hubby recommended). There's also a browser called Safari (that Mac uses) if haven't tried that.

Thanks my friend, It looks like the browsers best to use are either: Google's Chrome, Firefox or Safari, which means that IE has down-graded itself & isn't as good as it once was. I'll 1st try Google's Chrome, then Firefox to see which 1 I like best, then keep the 1 that works best on my machine; I may also try Safari as a back-up browser, just in case this happens again. Thanks for your help & please thank, Chatlins, your husband for me. Take care, Karen
