Well, it is finally completely official ! The Hal Con convention in Halifax now has me up on their web site. Although so many of us have longed for one last UnCon here in Halifax, this might be the closest thing to come even a bit close for a while. This con has been steadily growing over the past few years, and has attracted some interesting guests. It goes without saying, I suppose, that it would be lovely to see some of you delightful old friends, but I fully realize that times are tough, and travel just ain't the fun it used to be. Never the less, while I am at this con, there is no doubt that I'll be remembering all the crazy (like ass-signing) times that so many of us shared. But, just in case.... www.hal-con.comlove to all brian

Ahh, signing - I remember it well - good times...
I'm hoping I'll be able to make it to this one - anyone else up for a little Lexxy get-together?

I sincerely wish I could be there (Has it really been TEN YEARS since UnCon '02?!) but the cash just isn't available right now. Probably shouldn't have spent so much money at Star Wars Celebration VI last month..

It will be sooooo sad that many of you UnCon veterans won't be able to make it to HalCon, less than a week away. But those of us who do make it here, will keep you in all our thoughts. Here's to all those in the UnCon family, and to all those who wish to be. The fun starts on Friday coming. brian

Well, Hal-Con was fun, with lots of Lexxy goodness - Brian of course, but also a Haven Q&A with John Dunsworth (several roles on Lexx, including the first voice of His Divine Shadow) and Richard Donat (who was in I Worship His Shadow, and the original Dark Zone promo). Lenore Zann (the Dark Lady from Woz) was there too.
So much going on that there wasn't time to see it all - How to survive a zombie apocalypse was good, and there were loads of great costumes. Apparently next year's going to be even bigger and better...
