That's wonderful, Brian. Can't wait to see what you have. Do you have any bloopers too that you may offer in the future from your collection? I have the tape of the bloopers you put together a few years ago, that were also were on the Lexx dvd's. But am wondering if you have more from your own collection that you might consider putting together in the future.

Well I got that new Brian Tape in yesterday and watched it this evening, and all I can say is : OH. MY. GAWD. AMAZING pics and narration, the behind-the-scenes shots from all 4 seasons are fantastic, and the little anecdotes really make the tape one of the most memorable I have seen. There are tons of great shots showing alot of the production itself but the candid shots of the cast members and staff were priceless. Brian did a marvelous job and the workload must have been staggering, what a trooper. WELL WORTH the money, especially for a Lexx archivist. I'm going to make a mention of it on the new MM site up..it should show up on the front page later this week. www.michael-mcmanus.comDEFINITELY GET this tape. FIVE STARS!

Yep... it did take a LOT of work. I have about 5 thousand photos that cover all 4 seasons of LEXX... I tried to pick some of the more obviously interesting to record... I actually bought a Berringer Mixer, and an Audio-Technica wireless mike, to record along with my Canon XL1.... I did commit a flub or two... but out of almost 400 shots, not bad , huh Thanks for the kind words, aphroditeschild.... I did the best I could. It did take, not hours, but many days... just to select what I wanted to shoot, and then more time than you want to know to put together what you have in your hands right now.... brian

Any stuff you get together is truly watchable...never seen anything boring....
but as you ask so nicely....material concerning you, Michael and Xenia would be very very nice.....(in that order? ;D ;D)
It´s really wonderful that you make it possible to give us fans such an amazing inside view of the series... also it broadened the understanding of doing movies and the work behind everything...to watch a movie or a series is one thing...but to see all the work related to get it realized is also very very interesting...it made me watching this series and every other movie with different eyes.... THANK YOU!
*hugs* Diane

I just got the 10 DVD Stan-pack. It took a bit of pulling to get out of my tiny mail box though..
Happy birthday/Xmas to Gene!!
I finally got to see the Lexx promo video that got the show on the air. Interesting how it has a Babylon 5 look and feel.
The character of Stanley Tweedle is wonderful. A true reluctant hero.
Still have much more to watch.. but I'm busy as heak. Maybe Xmas will be my day to watch the rest of the Stan-Pack!
I still think you are the best Brian!

What would be amazing would be if someone with the 3D models of the Lexx etc. could make detailed renderings of them and sell them to lexx fans.

Well, first of all, there are piles of scripts for seasons 2, 3 and 4 available, and quite a few are the originals, some are photocopies of the originals...for these, just let me know what might be of interest to you. Here is a list of some of the SPECIAL scripts that are still left in their original form:
From season 1 : The Dark Zone (later called I Worship His Shadow) dated Feb 16, 1995 - the daddy of the entire show ! Opens with Kai saying : My favourite thing is to let my mind wander, wondering, questioning, asking what this gift of life is all about, as I walk through the forest and see, smell, and feel it all around me.
The script ends with a speech from HER SHADOW ... yes HER Shadow... From season 2 : BRIGADOOM , labled "Rough Draft" , dated 08 October, 1998, 38 pages, many differences from the broadcast version...plus 25 pages of 'pink' revisions.
From season 3: MIRA (broadcast as MAY), labled Draft Dated May 13, 1999... a very early version which included scenes with Wist (the character from Eating Pattern)
From season 4: 14 pages of storyboards from Little Blue Planet. Xevivor, early draft dated 29/01/01 - full script Walpurgis Night, early draft dated Mar 13/01- full script Sleeping Beauty- wow ! 138 pages of storyboards !...dated Mar 05 2001 Prime Ridge - earlt draft dated Mar 30/01 2 copies of Apocalexx Now , early drafts, dated September 13, 2001 Viva Lexx Vegas, early draft dated Sept 21 , 2001
None of the scripts are the onmes we used while we were shooting... they are the scripts that came before the "shooting'" script, so they are rare treasures....they are also one-of-a-kind items. All will come with a certificate of authenticity, indicating that the script is one which was published and utilized during the production of the season for which it was written.
Prices will vary, so if you are interested, write me at :

cheers

I was layed off, so this is not the best time for me to be buying things.
Is there a copy right that would prevent the buyer from making copies available to others?

Hey, Varrtan !
Don't you think that even a sense of decency might raise questions about copying things ? I know your intentions are decent, but every time you copy, some artist gets more poor....do you really want to hurt the very people who have brought you such great entertainment ? Don't do it, bro..
